Tasting Notes
Released several years after vintage at the optimum aging, the Cabernet Malbec is robust but with a mellowed, fruit-driven core. The Cabernet stands out, showing typically minty nuances underlying the mulberry and blackcurrant flavours while the Malbec adds that certain floral earthiness. This has lovely tannin structure and oak is well integrated. - Winery Note
Tim Adams wines has been around since 1984 when Tim, his wife and a couple of friends set about creating a winery focussed on making purely Clare Valley wines. It was a tough start for them but they have now developed a terrific range of award winning wines including Cabernet, Riesling, Pinot Gris Malbec, Shiraz, Tempranillo, Semillon and Grenache.
