Tasting Notes
A wine inspired by an old school South African blend called Lieberstein which consisted on Chenin Blanc and Clairette Blanche. This is 90% Chenin Blanc and 10% Clairette Blanche and differs from the original style as it was off dry whereas this is a dry style of wine that is mid weight, and highlights the stone and orchard fruit characters you typically see from both varieties which is complemented by hints of flinty reduction and quite a zippy line of acid that gives the fruit some drive. Reminds me of the Loire which means I am a big fan. - Pete L
