Burgundy! The Mecca of wine these days. When people talk about Burgundy they're usually referring to the Cote d'Or sub-region specifically, but there's so much more to the region too. Burgundy also includes Chablis, Maconnais and Chalonnaise.

The region as a whole is known for producing the greatest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the world. It is also the home to an array of lesser known varieties like Aligote. These grape varieties are planted on a variety of soil types, underpinned by an aggregate of limestone, which very much definies the wines produced.

In the eyes of many wine lovers and experts around the world, Burgundy sits above the rest.
