Dave Bicknell, winemaker of Oakridge Wines has Applecross as his personal project. It gives him the opportunity to flex his muscle and add a bit of his own flare. This Chardonnay is no exception… Think wet stone minerality, white orchard fruits, hints of citrus and roasted nuts. This wine loves air, please decant. - Pete L
Bicknell FC is the label of Dave Bicknell and his wife Nicole Harris in the Yarra Valley. Dave is responsible for the rise of the Oakridge wines to fame and we see no reason why that trend wouldn't continue with their own label.
