Tasting Notes
This is definitely one of my favourite wines in-store. It punches well above its weight and put simply is a very good wine that everyone should enjoy. Made from Montepulciano and Sangiovese from the little known Marche region in central Italy. Medium bodied with moderate fruit weight with savoury undertones and a fine tannin structure that makes you go back for more. - Chris L
Italian wine descriptions can confuse us. This tasty red is a blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes from the small commune of Piceno in the Marche region of central Italy. Red and black fruits with a touch of leaf on the nose. It's nicely ripe, not too heavy with chalky tannin and 13.5% alcohol. Loved it with roasted fillet of beef and veggies. - Michael L
In the enchanting hills of the Marche region, it is as if time has stood still to tell everybody of its history and origins. A little ancient world where the past lives in the present and the soundness of its traditions merges with the strength of the innovations in a constant striving for quality in its wines. - Winery Note
