Tasting Notes
This Bourgogne Pinot Noir Lameroses is silky, fruity with a subtle nose of earthiness.
The “Les Lameroses” climat is located in the north part of Meursault, meters away from the 1er cru “Les Santenots”. The plot is 1.5 hectares of vineyard on rich marl soils. The wines embody great balance, with a subtle nose of earthiness, a very expressive cherry and delicate rose petal notes. This wine is meduim bodied, demonstrating a remarkable elegance and is great when it’s young or cellared for two to three years. It opens up quickly on the nose and it does not need to be decanted. It goes very well with roast chicken, crispy pork belly, pork roast or rabbit terrine. 100% Pinot Noir. - Importer Note

Producer and owner Marc Rougeot, now alongside his sons Pierre-Henri and Alexandre, energetically continue the family tradition with a mixture of modern, organic and traditional processes that get the best out of every vintage. The Domaine is going to be fully certified organic farming in 2018.
In recent times, the Domaine has significantly developed the quality of their reds and as a result they have reached new heights. They are defined by elegance, silkiness and stunning subtle fruit.
The whites at Domaine Rougeot are refined, generous and seductive. They celebrate the famed qualities of the region; evoking the tastes of the beautiful Côte de Beaune. - Importer Note
