Tasting Notes
The White Mischief is our fruit-driven style of Gruner Veltliner. It has loads of exuberant aromatics with both the nose and palate brimming with delicious citrus, spice, ruby grapefruit and stone fruit. These long and intense flavours are all held together by a juicy acidity and a gentle textural rub. Perfect for all your seafood treats, white meats and your favourite South East Asian cuisine. - Winery Note
Hahndorf Hill is a cool-site Adelaide Hills winery founded by Larry Jacobs. The estate specialises in varieties that thrive in the Hills’ elevation and long, slow ripening, most notably Grüner Veltliner and Blaufränkisch, alongside Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. The soils lean on sandstone-rich loam and clay over fractured rock, harvested by hand, cool fermented and handled with modest oak only where required, preserving aromatic lift, freshness and moderate alcohol elegance.
