Pet Nat's are always fun and this is no exception! A blend of Muscat and Riesling. Bright, bubbly and dry finishing. Perfect for Summer on the Patio. No thought required, just enjoyment. - Chris L
La Violetta is a boutique wine label based in Western Australia’s Great Southern region, founded by winemaker Andrew Hoadley in 2008. Known affectionately as “Hoady” within the industry, he crafts expressive, unconventional wines that blend deep regional knowledge with a creative, intuitive approach to winemaking. The name La Violetta comes from an old Italian song and a nod to the perfumed, floral character found in many of his wines.
Working with carefully selected vineyards across Denmark, Mount Barker and Frankland River, Hoadley sources fruit from cool-climate sites that offer natural acidity, aromatic lift and fine structure. Varieties such as Shiraz, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Malbec and Tempranillo feature prominently, alongside experimental blends that defy convention. Viticulture is organic in spirit, with minimal chemical input and a focus on soil health and balance.
In the cellar, the approach is instinctive and low-intervention: wild ferments, minimal sulphur, extended lees contact and sensitive oak handling. The wines—ranging from the fragrant Das Sakrileg Riesling and Spunk Nat to the textured Brooding Stranger and Up! reds—are celebrated for their energy, personality and savoury complexity.
La Violetta has become one of Western Australia’s most exciting small producers, embodying a philosophy that balances creativity with authenticity—wines that are as alive and distinctive as the landscapes they come from.
