Tasting Notes
A wild and gamey blend of Carignan, Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre. There's dark berry fruit, black olive tapenade - it's savoury and saline. The palate is really meaty and nicely structured, with a wonderful savoury, mineral-laden finish. - Felix G
Les Fruits is the winemaking project of Tim Stock, using naturally and biodynamically farmed grapes sourced from the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley. Produced in a shed in the Basket Range, the winemaking is simple and traditional. All wines are matured on lees in old French oak barrels of varying sizes, with nothing added apart from minimal sulphur at racking and/or bottling. All of the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
