
Tasting Notes
This is Dave Verheul from Saison's take on a classic Sweet Red Vermouth. For those that don't know, Dave is the chef at Embla in Melbourne so flavour is focus and Vermouth and Aperitifs are another way for him to capture it. He's using a base of Victorian Shiraz and Moscato and blending it with wormwood and some other botanicals to create a more cocktail focussed offering compared to his other releases which to me were more sipping Vermouths and best served on their own. - Pete L
