Tasting Notes
Why does a 60% Tempranillo (think warm Spain, early ripening) and a 40% Pinot (think cool climate) red from cool Orange Region appeal? Well, I liked the feel in the mouth - sense of blue fruits, fine chalky mouth coating tannins, medium bodied (13.2% alc), and a touch of oak. I reckon the Pinot gives a lightness to the feel of the dominant Tempranillo. Good drinking! But serve it just below room temperature! - Michael L
