Tasting Notes
This is exactly how "modern" Mourvedre should look - with whole bunches providing a nice aromatic lift and notes of violets and aniseed without betraying the typicity of the grape's darker fruits and meatiness. Excellent texture in the mouth - fresh without being shy of some healthy tannin for intrigue. I don't think there's a better value Mourvedre in the country. - Aaron C.
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
