Tasting Notes
A blend of Viura and Malvasia from Lanciego (Rioja) in Spain coming off a site that sits about 600m above sea level. The wine begins its journey fermenting in concrete and then spends a further nine months in used french oak barrels. The Viura offers layers of ripe stone and orchard fruit while the Malvasia adds an aromatic lift and freshness to the wine. - Pete L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
