Tasting Notes
Mid weight and delicious packed with darker black and blue fruits with hints of pepper, nutmeg and a touch of clove making this a pretty complex wine for this price. - Pete L
Andre Bondar is at the helm of his family's vineyard and making some of the most expressive wines out of South Australia. The Bondar home vineyard is called Rayner and is located in the hills of McLaren Vale where the sub-regions of Blewitt Springs and Seaview meet. This organically farmed vineyard planted on the famous sands of the region is mostly made up of Shiraz and Grenache, with a spattering of Counoise, Mataro, Carignan, Cinsault, Touriga Nacional and Sagrantino. The red wines are generally mid-weight, gloriously perfumed and finely structured. Bondar also sources fruit from other vineyards in McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills.
