Tasting Notes
A plot located on a slightly sloping plateau in the village of Prissé at over 213 metres altitude. Soils are deep, brown, loamy-clay, medium to heavy textures, slightly gravelly. Vinification is 10% in barrels and 90% in stainless steel vats for a period of 10 months with little filtration when bottled. This glimmers green/gold in the glass. Aromatically evoking ripe yellow fruits, meal and oat with some stony nuances. The palate has flavoresome yellow nectarine and apple, is chalky and mineral with citrus, the finish is teasing, terrific balance and length. - Importer Note
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
